Input files - SSSP formats
In addition to the temperature
profile data, used by most models in SSSP it can be relevant to read data
for (i) shelf-life at different temperatures, (ii) concentrations of bacteria at
different times and (iii) growth rates at various storage conditions into the following
modules of the software:
SSSP can import these types of data as specific ASCII- or XML-formats or by
using the SSSP raw data importer. The
ASCII file formats are very simple and appropriate to generate by text editors and
spreadsheets (See examples below). As explained for the temperature profile data
it is not advisable to generate XML files using text editors
or spreadsheets. XML files, however, can be generated by SSSP and this can be
most useful when input data are needed e.g. as part of demonstrations or teaching
sessions.
Shelf-life data in the format shown below can be read by SSSP as text files
(txt) e.g. generated as a tabulator separated text file created by using a spreadsheet.
The text 'RRS' in the first line is required for SSSP to recognize the file
format.
